We did the same thing by putting it in a sub-directory and creating a custom menu in WordPress and linking. The bridge option is 4 years also and I haven't personally tested so unsure if it'll still work.Lumpy Burgertushie wrote: ↑Sat Aug 18, 2018 6:16 pm install phpbb to its own directory. put a link to your support board in your wp menu. put a link back to the wp site in the phpbb menu.
if you want to bridge the users logins etc. then do a search for a wp/phpbb bridge. I think there are still a couple of them around that still work.

Just peeked at the code, wow, the number of "TODO" comments there is awful.
Code: Select all
// TODO: why this is here? look not useful and crazy
Code: Select all
// guess (+- surely) to not build a duplicated ID
But, I see inconsistencies where it states it doesn’t support 3.2 then in other places it says it does. A little research may be in order.WordPress wrote:BridgeDD PRO supports phpBB 3.1 and phpBB 3.2.
many TODO are now DONE, and 2.3.6 is coming really soonJust peeked at the code, wow, the number of "TODO" comments there is awful
Maybe, but the fact is that the integration is secure, under any aspect:Also looking at all the other gibberish in the code I wouldn't trust this to run on my server.
It is nice to receive a non-sense as answer. The fact i post a message answering about something i follow, where i just falls for pure case, do not mean i'm stuck into something. May you have to take a look into what u say, and show respect, since i've not 'insulted' anybody.
