What theme do you think is the best thing? You may also write about comercial themes as well.

have a look at
Styles HQ
Prosilver is the most stable and acts as a BASE for a lot of others
but my favourite at the moment is

Very easy to enstall, looks great and you can use it as your Guest style when in fact all your members have prosilver or whatever choice they want
SE Gamer inherits from Prosilver, its a great one to choose

My current favourite is ProLight (currently awaiting validation, dev topic here:

Are not all themes at the bottom prosilver?

the best style is the one that you and/or your members likes the best.
the reality is that most of the time the members just use whatever you provide and couldn't really care less about the style of the board.

Back in the past I wondered if questions like these even considered different aspects (usability, optics, robustness, accessibility, contrast, age, maintenance...) but I gave up on that. Looking at all aspects I never encountered a style being better than
proSilver since 2010, as I was tired of optically different styles that would then reveal to have bugs.

The intention was probably to sort all the styles by their rating.

Yes, they aren't. And unbound to that they're prone to miss details or rendering it in a wrong way.

I think the best stye would have to be the one that offers great features and is code optimized so it loads quick. I don't know what that is though.

I'll go for a set of triplets. one blonde, one redhead and one brunette. oh, they must like older men.
(hell, at this point I aint picky, as long as they are breathing and female I don't care. )
