phpBB vs PHP policy/

Post by rudi_br » Fri Jul 26, 2019 12:29 pm

First of all, thanks for the great work all of the phpBB developers are doing !!!!!

I have a site, that also runs some homebrew php, unfortunately, I am using a function with a bug, which seems to be fixed in php 7.4(beta).
However, my board is running phpBB 3.2.4, which doesn't work well with PHP 7.4(beta).

So my question is, is it possible to see somewhere, what PHP versions is currently being supported and which is in progress?

I fully understand, that phpBB can not be released in a version supporting PHP 7.4 until some time after PHP 7.4 has been released.

Again, thanks for the great work guys!!!

phpBB 3.2.7 supports PHP 7.2.x

phpBB 3.3 will support some versions of PHP 7.3
