Congrats on the release! I guess I'll have to start working on extensions and style when I get back from holiday. Stay safe everyone!

Congrats.
One question though...
If I update from 3.2.8, will I loose compatibility with all the extensions I am using?

That depends. 3.3.0 will need a higher PHP version than 3.2.8 and a few extensions will need updates, because some optional changes for 3.2 are now needed.

So best thingy, check is before updating in a test board.

Not with all, must most certainly with some.
It is still a RC and using it for your live board is not a good idea unless (and even then) you can fix any problems yourself.

You could always test the upgrade on localhost but disable all extensions first and enable them one by one for testing.

The easiest way to find out is to install a testboard with 3.3.0 RC1 and the test the extensions you are using 1 by 1. But even before that, use [3.2][RC] Extension .yml check, (link in nou nou's post). If an extension fails that check, it will need an update in order to be compatible with phpBB3.3

Since I'm NOT a programmer, It doesnt look like I will be upgrading for a while so I don't loose functionality.

@bubbathegimp

The extension shows you what the problems are and with a good text editor you could change them yourself as I think that some of those extensions are no longer supported.

Be aware also that the extension is only checking one specific area of compatibility and it is possible that there could be other issues with any extension.

You shouldn't be upgrading at this time anyway (it is but an RC).
But you could install a testboard with the RC if only to find problems (which may not be restricted to extension).

I'm not planning on upgrading yet, But I do want to keep on top of what extensions will be affected....(And the needed fixes)

I don't want to loose the functionality of a bunch of extensions, But I do want to try to keep the board as up to date, and ready for the upgrade as possible....
