I clicked Spambot countermeasures on my forum. Where Installed plugins I configured reCaptacha and there is version 2. Phpbb3 dont support reCaptcha v3? When I click www.google.com/recaptcha I see only reCaptcha v3. How to install reCaptcha v2? Or its better to use Q&A?

it is easier to use the built in Q&A.

just choose a question that you can't get the answer in google.
no math questions,
no multiple choice questions,

no "what color is" questions.

all those types of questions can be solved by the register bots in just a few seconds.
ask something about your site and/or something that only a real human can figure out etc.

By popular demand, a new permission has been implemented, enabled by default. :P

Can use emoji and rich text characters in topic title

Is it just me? I see the new permission and created a new topic with the grinning :grinning: emoji in the title. But the emoji is not rendered. I checked my user permissions and this is enabled. Is there some other setting that is needed?

You should put the Emoji not its alias (ie. :grinning: doesn't works in topic title).

Nice to see progress on phpbb as other free open source board systems seem to be dying out or just releasing security updates.

I think @MarkDHamill would like to say the emojis in topic title are not converted to twemoji librairies.

Bear in mind that I don't use Emojis much so how it is supposed to work is something of a learning curve. I'd suggest that topic titles allow using the Emoji alias in them and translating accordingly. I copied and pasted an Emoji into a topic title without a problem.

Who actually uses emoji aliases instead of a emoji picker of the likes in the whole world? :P

I do :) I like code and for me it's much easier to write an often-used emoji alias while typing a sentence rather than disturb the typing flow and move to graphically picking an emoji

Is not possible to use aliases, emojis are converted to their own hexadecimal notation, the logic does the rest.
You can use aliases in post messages.

Emojis in topic title (and forum title) are rendered as "browser", see: https://unicode.org/emoji/charts/full-emoji-list.html
