Anomalous code tags in body text when using Manage drafts > View/Edit

Not sure what version a site I visit is using, but I assume greater than 3.2.x because one style used is only available for 3.2.x and 3.3.x.

When trying to View/Edit a saved draft, anomalous tags are found in the body text.

For example...

The error message sounds like you want to save a draft, though. Which should also work, generally...

Any idea what might be causing these tags to appear, i.e. <r></r>, <s></s>,<e></e> etc.?

If I am not mistaken they are added when the post is parsed

I have just quoted your reply and saved as draft, but I don't see those tags when using View/Edit...

Also, I have just installed 3.3.1 on a VM and don't see that behaviour there.

Btw, the site in question is the community support forum for AutoHotkey.

This was a bug in phpBB 3.2.1 and was fixed in 3.2.4: https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-15329
