Old phpBB Versions

Post by Encountered »

Hi. Does anyone have old versions of, perhaps phpBB 1.x and 2.x that is not listed in the SourceForge page. I am actually looking for phpBB v1.2.1, if you have a copy, I would be happy to download it.

P.S. if this doesn't go in this category, please move it somewhere else.

[REMOVED since the link for phpBB versions down to 2.0.0 and 1.4.4 apparently weren't appreciated, even though they weren't sourceforge]

Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

curious, why that particluar version of phpbb 1 ?

you can get 1.4.4 here: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/phpbb-1-4-4
it probably is not much different than the 1.2.1
also, unless you are going to host it on your own personal server that you can change php to a really old
version, you won't be able to install any phpbb 1 or 2.
