With PHP 8.0.1 Password is no longer accepted after logout and relogin.
I tried to reset the pw with "passwort forgotten" link, but this don´t work too (old and new pw are not accepted).

I switched back to PHP 7.4.3 and everything is fine.
Update before from 3.3.2 to 3.3.3 with auto update.

Thanks team. 👍👍

As I would have expected it was a simple and clean update on my testbed machine following https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... date_full/.

Planning underway on when to update my production boards. At this point I'm planning to stay running on PHP 7.4.
Production boards now updated and running smoothly. Again, thanks team.

I've started testing on another testbed machine using PHP 8. The specifics are: So far so good, nothing unusually or abnormal detected. Again, thanks team 👍👍

The latest version of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS only has PHP 7.3 on a clean install with MySQL 5.7

After some updates MySQL 8 is available but PHP 7.4 is all that is available last time I looked

I guess PHP8 is being tested before is out for the LTS users
