How to retrieve admin details from database via phpMyAdmin

Post by Peteh_2 »

Hello Friends,
A Very Happy New Year to All.
I want to know that which database is related with which admin details as well for which domains it's related; since I have more than 10-databases of phpBB on my server but at present only one database is currently running.
How can I retrieve "Admin Details" as well "Installed Domain's Details" from the phpBB database.

Thanks

You don't.

Look in the config.php file (in the top level forum directory) and it will tell you the database name and prefix for the tables that are being used by the site.

If you then need to log in, there is a way to do that too.

Ah ok so if all you have is a database, reconstruct the config.php file and choose the databases one at a time (name, username and password) and see what they look like. If you don't know the database password you can reset that in your cpanel mysql manager.

Rebuilding Your config.php File

You can also look at things like the users table or posts table to see which databases have the largest ones and therefore are most likely to be the most recent.
