Why? Are you waiting on a specific feature or bug-fix that is not included in 3.3.4? Honestly, I don't see what the rush is. It will take as many versions as required until 4.0 is stable.

Does the "check for new version" of extentions work for you? It is broken for 2 boards that I updated to 3.3.4
Firefox shows a "Content-Encoding-Error". No error in the error logs. Is it only me, or can someone confirm this?

I am not seeing any problems running that check with FF on phpBB 3.3.4

Upgraded three boards on 3.3.3, 3.3.4RC with no issues with PHP 8.0 or 7.4, working well. Some external plugins do play up a bit with PHP 8, rare, however, from what I've been using.
