If you downloaded it from this site - yes

And the sha256 checksum of the zip file is the same as on the download page.

Yes. It was covered in the phpBB 3.3.6 Release announcement.

You are welcome. The 3.3.7 was a quick spin release to fix a problem introduced with 3.3.6.

The phpBB 3.3.7 Release announcement does say to please check out the phpBB 3.3.6 announcement for important news about new features and changes to the naming of update packages.

In a perfect world people spend time to read these announcements and understand their implications. Reality is often quite a different world.
