It's the same thing as some of the latest CVS versions, only this time it has "{ acp permissions explain }" done, instead of it saying that when you go to the permissions tab. :)

The ACP is HUGE - so many more options. This is going to take a while to get used to. Isnt there an option in the ACP to turn off main page features such as birthdays, forum stats, etc??

I'm at a lost for words... (first impressions on the installation process).

I just downloaded the package about 20 minutes ago. Glanced at the installation instructions, started the process and after many "jeez this is really nice", the installation was done and is seemingly working fine. This is on a WIN2K Advanced server on a private network, used for development.

I am seriously impressed with the "guided by the hand" approach and am a perfect example of it's success. This is very very nice and I can only praise all development members on what they have accomplished so far, which also puts to rest any reservations I might of had in resisting a major change (to say the least) to a beloved BB.

Very very impressive work! :wink:

I've seen a part of it, and notified SHS` about this. But that was months ago, and taken care of..

Take a look at General --> Server Configuration --> Load Settings.

ACP -> General tab, under Server Configuration -> Load Settings.

There's an option to show the birthdays on the forum index.

its in:
