I took a CVS snapshot, and what I could say :

1. USE THE LABEL !

eg:

<input id="foo" type="checkbox" />
<label for="foo">Deactivate BBCode in that post</label>

Clicking on the text will select the checkbox. (works on ie, fx, opera).

What I would except, is to find this in the post form. It is in the ACP, but it miss there.

2. Disabling colors, size.

What I would except (and what I will do for sure when final release will be available) is something to disable colors - either at user level, or at admin level -, so that the user won't have white text on white background.

Also a set of predefined (from x-small, small, etc) size and colours could be better.

3. use class, not style attribute, nor <font />

It would be better to have an option to select a CSS class instead of a color when we want to apply it on the group. The advantage is for template.

---

Appart from that, the work is awesome :)

I hope I will be able to make some mod (like filter, and [Solved] checkbox for some topic).

I just installed the beta 2 version of phpBB3 at my website, and I'm simply in love with the look and all the extra features. A bit overwhelming, though, to see how everything is laid out and such. Just when I thought I was getting a handle on the inner workings of phpBB...

An absolutely stunning and amazing product you guys have here. I can't tell you how impressed I am. Easily the best forum software on the market. Proud to be a part of the community.

I, myself, think the new permissions feature is very user-friendly. All you have to do is click between Post, Content, Actions, etc., for the specified set and simply click yes, no, or never. Great work!

Is it just me, or is it pretty slow?

I believe to get the groups color they need to be in that group by default. :)

I am so tempted to use this version over the release. I am going to wait though. I had tons of usergroups forums and permisions setup on phpBB2 just deal with what the moderator panel, username notes, and logs do. This is going to be a wonderful product and I cant wait for the release. I am so glad I switched from e107. Keep up the great work!

All I've gotta say about this is that it's an extreme case of "OMG O_O". It's definately still PHPbb, but it has a taste of vBulletin in it. Not that that's a bad thing, especially since I like vB a lot, it's just more an observation I made. :)

I also love the cleaner design. I'm just going to need to do a bit of learning to figure out the whole bloody thing. heh.

i think its great... as soon i even got to the install page i was amazed of how better it looked, and then even more by looking at the ACP... now i actually think the subSilver theme looks good... the 2.0.x subSilver looks bad, but this one actually looks cool...
