I plan on staying over a few extra days. :) ... no point in flying all the way to London to spend one or two days there.

Just a few extra days?

I am planning 2 weeks (probably stopping in Paris and I'd like to stop back in Dublin). :P

Looks like you're going to be a couple of merry madcats. And I'm just going to have to stay here in my own San Francisco during the whole thing...

I know I'm a fairly light community contributor and know nobody here, but I've just booked my place (I'm 5 minutes down the road from Heathrow). Hoping to get to know many of you and pay specific thanks to the authors of all the mods I've used (past and present).

I think everyone should wear Username name tags, so we know who to pay homage to :P

I'm moving to London at the end of May, I hope to be there too!
I'm running phpbb2 since 2005 and I'll upgrade to phpbb3 during the summer, integrating with Drupal 6 (already installed) and making a customized skin similar to the rest of the web site, so I hope to learn something about these topics ;)
See you soon! :)

I'm about 60 miles from San Francisco. I think FoA and the rest of us broke Californian phpBBers should have a "too bad we can't go to "Londonvasion" conference :D Web-conference, maybe?

If you want a "too bad we can't go to Londonvasion" web conference, I've already been running one for the last year and a half. :P

Things are not looking good for me yet.

Tickets are still $1,000 from Chicago. :(

It wouldn't be so bad if the taxes + fees were not so high (they are close to half the cost).

I suppose participating at some point may not be a bad idea then ;)

Why, oh why? July 20th.. Shame, I actually set off on my holidays on July 15th, so I will be unable to attend. But are you guys planning to have videos up there, and up on the site available for download, I'd be very interested in seeing the conference through means of the Internet if I have to. Could anyone enlighten me?

I don't know if anyone's doing video coverage up there (if so, they haven't announced it anywhere), but there's definitely going to be a good amount of podcast coverage there.

Podcast, definitely. We're also working with the possibility of live video streaming the event for those who cannot attend as well as recording it and putting the videos up. The fine details are still in the works. :D
