(style) Help! My server doesn't open Styles!

Need some custom code changes to the phpBB core simple enough that you feel doesn't require an extension? Then post your request here so that community members can provide some assistance.

(style) Help! My server doesn't open Styles!

I noticed it yesterday while trying to switch to another style. I switched but didn't run css files. Switched to Prosilver. But i noticed that doesn't works! What should I do?

That's not much to go on.
How about explaining exactly what you've done, what style you've got and what you want to do.

Your forum is not loading the css, what did you do? And what is that "H" doing there at the top left?

Looks to me as if somebody has been editing the templates and removed the links to the .css files.

My suggestion would be to restore the backup of the files that you made before you started editing - you did make a backup didn't you??

that was judged for custom header. that happened when i switched to another style i had uploaded. didn't worked. re switched but that happened

if you do not have a current copy of phpbb on your computer, you should.
download it from here ( click the downloads button at the top of every page here )

then, unzip it on your computer. then using ftp only, upload the prosilver style to the styles folder on your server.

your current overall_header.html file is missing most of the code that needs to be there.

if you are trying to create a custom header there are plenty of instructions here to help you.
for one thing, you should not remove anything from the <head> section of the page.
anything you need to edit would be in the <body> section, not the <head> section.

You don’t need to touch any HTML to change the header, CSS only I reckon.
