And did you do this?
Installation instructions:

Extract the files from the zip file
Upload the files in the root directory to your board root directory
Browse to the Administration Control Panel and install the User Import Module.
Complete instructions in the MODX format are in the install.xml file included in the package
The csv file needs to be uploaded to the store directory

I would have if the module showed up in the dropdown list od modules, so I can add it.

I installed it through AutoMOD so I got it installed.
Question is if it works with the latest phpbb 3.0

automod will not do the module part.

are you aware that the list in the drop down is very long and you have to scroll almost to the bottom of the list to find this module?
once you do, you highlite it, then click the add button.
once you do that, you have to go back to where it is now listed on the page and click the enable link.
once you do that , it will show up under the users and groups tab.

The module part is easy. My problem was that I was not able to manually install it, so the module would not even show in the dropdown list.

The plugin/mod is installed now. However, I need to know what format the .csv has to be for the plugin to work. I keep getting "No Username found on line 1: line skipped.", and that for all lines.
How should the csv format look like?

Many formats are accepted. Common point is that this needs to be CSV! For example:
"Giles314","AbCdEfGhIjKlM","Unused data","[email protected]","2016-02-10"
"Someoneelse","hIjKlMAbCdEfG","Still Unused","[email protected]","2016-01-01"
...

Then you must describe your exact format using the requested parameters

csv stands for "comma separated value".

therefore, the example given above is what you want.

each user needs to be on a separate line and each bit of data needs to be separated by a comma.

I had a excel .csv file with 1 line per user.

I am no longer looking to import users, but thank you anyway for your support.

If you have a fresh installation of 3.1 and want to import users from a 3.0 you should use this:

Finally i've discover how to install this mod, but i'm having problems now importing from the csv, I think i could work it out in a few days...

The thing is, and correct me if i'm wrong, i've installed 2 3.0.x boards, my idea is import the db from Forumatic in one, and later import users, posts and sctructure if it possible from it in the other board. Once i have moved all this, upgrade that board to 3.1.x. It's a good idea? I'm doing disaster again? :P
