Hi,

I got everything converted and passwords working. Apparently I have a bunch of inline attachments. Is there a way to manually get them to be shown?

I'm seeing this right now -

I successfully imported my vbulletin 4.1.3 board into phpBB 3 (the latest), but the only problem I'm having is trying to login now to the board. It also looks like all my members will encounter this same problem once the site is live again.

Here's the server info & some background info.

I'm running a home server currently only on my localhost setup so I have not implemented my domain name yet. I'm doing all the setups and testing on my localhost first. The server I'm running is Apache 2.16, php5, Mysql (the latest) on an Ubuntu 10.10 desktop machine. I have not configured a mail server yet so therefore I cannot get mail from the board to resend passwords. Not sure if that is the crux of my problem or if its something else all together.

I tried to change my password via phpmyadmin on just my account and still no dice I still cannot login and get the...
It was not possible to convert your password when updating this bulletin board’s software. Please request a new password. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator.
message. Now that I've tried to login a few times I'm now getting this message on my account...
You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to solve the CAPTCHA below.
Upon doing that, I get the same screen again. Even after using my updated password that I changed in the database by hand.

The conversion went very easily, I've used vbulletin for many years and I'm a vbulletin skin designer & coder so its not like I'm lost on these things...usually lol.

Any help would be great! Thanks

Didn't you have any problem while converting the database, like the two ones posted before your post?

I did a conversion from v4.2 to phpbb, I got the message as everything was right and 2 threads from the test forum were also transferred, however I cant access admin panel by going to root/adm or even root/adm/index.php
It justs gives a blank page to me.
What should I do?

I'm using the converter to convert from vb4.1.14, a Internal Server Error appears each time I restart the converter. It seems that it was importing users from old board, it completed them all, but the error message still appears.
Is there a solution ?

This version does not exist

This message
Internal Server Error
It is a thing of your hosting.
Try to perform the conversion in localhost

The purpose is that your localhost stand more processes than your hosting.
In addition you do not thus ruin your forum. :)
