Detailed description of the tasks:
Hello dear people

I run a small personal blog about CBD. I am still at the beginning and hope that my blog will grow one day.

Since I am very interested in CBD, I would also like to have a good opportunity to talk to other interested people about the topic. I think a forum would be a good solution.

I'm looking for someone to help me set up a forum. I want the design to be 1:1 to my blog design (https://blogmarley.de/ check the colors/typography)

I also need advice on whether a subdomain for the forum would be a good solution. Furthermore, it is important to me that the forum is well optimized from a SEO point of view.

If you can help me to implement the above-mentioned points, I look forward to hearing from you via e-mail.

If you made that blog design yourself than it can't be difficult for you to change a style from phpbb with that colours and lettertype.
Phpbb is well optimized for seo no need to change anything.
Install things on a subdomain is mostly not a good idea.

There are many styles available and basically you would only need to change some colours and lettertype.
As to a subdomain... absolutely no need.
The blog is there already in a domain. You could use a directory to put your forum in e.g. /forum, and put a link to your forum in the blog.

Nothing wrong with offering money for some help but setting up a board is something you should do (as I would expect you to administrate it and update it and perhaps install some extensions. As for the style edits: set up a board first : see how it works and experiment with some style edits. There's free help available for released styles in their respective subforums and general help if you need some style changes to prosilver.
About the board itself, you can easily set one up on your PC to play around with (see the Knowledge Base: many useful articles).
My board's not broken, it just went peculiar

That's definitely true! A forum should always be installed and set up by yourself.
A friend of mine from DE made this for me. All, at that time still Mod`s, incorporated. Also the updates as well as the forum safety device he made for me. Therefore I did not concern myself further with these things.

When he had one day no more interest in keyboard Internet forums (also no more time), I looked quite old.
Rights should be changed - only how?
The forum urgently needed to be updated to the latest phpBB version.
Mod`s had to be changed etc.

If you create a phpBB forum from scratch, you know exactly what you did / have to do where. This is definitely much easier to administer later in live operation.

Technically, everything is installed in a subdomain. :ugeek:
for this site,
phpbb is a subdomain of com
www is a subdomain of phpbb.com

Since your top level domain appears to be a Wordpress site, putting a phpBB forum in a subdomain is I think a good idea, as it distinguishes it as having a separate purpose from the Wordpress framework. If you want the forum's style to look different than Wordpress's, it also sets that expectation.

Google is seeing a subdomain as a different website.
So setting up everything on the head domain is in my opinion better, it gives you more content as splitting it up on different subdomains.

Sure, different subdomains under the same domain are different websites, so Mr. Google (and other search engines) is correct to handle them separate.

So, you would prefer to have
phpbb.com/community
phpbb.com/area51
phpbb.com/tracker
phpbb.com/wiki

instead of
www.phpbb.com/community
area51.phpbb.com
tracker.phpbb.com
wiki.phpbb.com
?

I guess it doesn't matter for search engines.

Different subdomains have advantages, eg. you can run different server resources (php version, web servers like apache or nginx, ...) in the subdomains depending on the requirements of the installed software version without affecting other parts of your web presence.

Yes technical are subdomains easier, for SEO I prefer
phpbb.com/community
phpbb.com/area51
phpbb.com/tracker
phpbb.com/wiki
