IF I HAVE CHARACTERS LIKE {
ë what is the right way to translate a html: ë or char code: ë

}
or just ë ...?

Your post is not understandable. Please try to explain again, and please try to put some more efforts into setting your post up with codes etc.

inside the language file.. what is the best way to write this characters. as they are or I have to code.

example:
so i have to write ûbùntá

Thank you for clarifying you question.

You can include the characters in the language files as you type them, you just have to make sure, that you save the files in encoding UTF-8 without BOM. And for that you need a file editor that fully supports UTF-8 encoding.

If you need further elaboration, please try to do a search in the [3.0.x] support forum. There are quite some topics there with usefull information, if elaboration is needed.

in some cases was in this way:
* é replaced with é
* è = è
* ê = ê
* ë = ë
* à = Ã
* â = â

and in other cases this way:
á replaced with á
è = è
é = é


or doesn't matter?
