Board not showing

Post by Frogmen »

Hello I perform an automatic updated from 3.2.8 to 3.3. After the procedure I had a red alert windows in the acp telling me that I have some issues with an ext. I Delete all the ext in the forum and the red window is gone but now I can’t access the forum.

Any ideas pls?

Thank you
Javier

Did you disable them, and delete their data first? If not then restore all of the extension's files.

Use phpMyAdmin
open phpbb_config (phpBB_ is the table prefix: change if yours is different
filed cookie_domain: change the value to .frogmen.info (note the leading dot)

clear /cache (leaving index.htm and .htaccess in place)
Clear browser cache
If you deleted the extension files, put them all back.
Then try again.

If that doesn't let you access the board: I suggest you restore your working 328 version and re-update AFTER disabling extensions.
Extensions which are incompatible with phpBB3.3 should be disabled, data deleted and only then files removed.
We should embrace problems, without which there wouldn't be any solutions.

You should look in the error log from your webserver what is causing the issue. You can find the error log in most cases in the control panel from your host.
