Do you need a translation of "These files have to be deleted from your installation."?
Webseite, Blog, Wiki Deutsche Übersetzungen - german language files
My 2 cents: Whether an extension is in the CDB says nothing about its quality. It is more important to read the support topics for it. Better to avoid authors who do not answer support questions themselves, who do not update their stuff, and who do not fix bugs for years.

Which "update" method did you use?
It's an upgrade, not and update and the instructions to follow are in Upgrading from 3.2 to 3.3.
If you have a database backup, then restoring that and upgrading following the instructions posted should get your site back up and running n a jiffy.
You could even try without having to restore the database backup, but frankly I'ld start all over.
We should embrace problems, without which there wouldn't be any solutions.

Thank you. files deleted.

Yet continue update process cannot work due to no file in the download.

I'll add that if your /store contains instal_config.php, io_lock.lock and/or migrationsxxx: delete those before starting the upgrade.

You should never get that message if you follow the instructions I linked to.

you have apparently downloaded the wrong files.

it looks like you have tried to use the auto update set of files while trying to follow the full upgrade instructions.

go back, delete whatever files you downloaded from here and download this zip file:
https://download.phpbb.com/pub/release/ ... -3.3.0.zip
then use these instructions:
https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... upgrade32/

follow them exactly, in order.

do not do anything not in those instructions and do everything in those instructions and you will be fine.

What is "the page"? (the ACP?)
Did you try emptying /cache (leaving index.htm and .htaccess)

Anything in de server error logs?

as the top error says, you are missing at least one file.

try uploading all the files again except for the config.php file and the install directory.
don't delete anything from the server. just upload the new files. if asked about overwrite say yes.
it seems your database update was successful, now you just need to make sure all the files are there.

Those are three days old errors.
IIRC there were a couple of posts with similar error reporting recently. No time to check on that now but use a search (anyway, your host should be able to see what happens).

That worked for me.
