REMOVE EXTENSION .PHP FROM URL

Post by owna »

hello I have a problem, I would like to remove .php extension from the forum url,
I have already tried but I can't.
I tried to do it through .htaccess file but when I type the url without the .php it does not find the page, any solution?

Please post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". Please do not post in ALL CAPITALS, use 'txt spk' or use excessive formatting.

... and the answer is NO,

PHP Is part of the url as is https, :// & www. I know what you want, you want to be able to use just the site name without having to type the php part as if it was in a folder that had permissions to run files without the ext? Not sure why you would want that but you can’t do that with the core software, you need to make an extension request.

That’s a bit rude considering it’s your first post while looking for free assistance.
