[Solved] Forum permissions blank page - new installation

Post by Sophocles »

Hi there,

I installed version 3.3.5 (new installation) made two categories and two forums and can not assign any permissions, as the permissions page is blank.

Steps: I select a forum (not category) and then on the left menu I select "Forum permissions". The permissions page is blank.

What may I have missed?

Thanks

A blank page is more often than not indicative of a suppressed PHP error, possibly in this case a missing of corrupt uploaded file. If you look in your server error logs you should be able to identify the file/files that are creating the problem.

No your server error logs that you access via your hosting control panel

Found the logs, looked at them, did a reinstall and now all is well.

How can I mark a post as solved?

Edit your topic_title: Prefix it with [Solved]
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Use the report function by clicking the ‘!’ button in the top right hand side of a post and select ‘solved’ from the drop down.
