I want to select topics from a list of a couple of hundred and then in one click send them all to a different forum.
Can I do that?
I've only got two forums on the board.
What I'm doing is trying to separate out all the 'junk' for future further sorting.
I found the 'move topic' thread but one by one....

For that MCP > Main > View forum exists - preferably click the MCP link when viewing a forum. See also Moderator Guide > The Moderator Control Panel (MCP) > Forum moderation.
Such a thing does not exist. But if you mean the Quick Mod Tools then mind the wording: the "quick" is there for a reason. You moderate either a topic or a forum, not both at once.

I tried that. It wouldn't let me select and move.
would that be because the topics have not been approved?
the drop down list appears showing my two forums and one 'sub forum' I suppose - indented in the list. but all are in grey. no highlight appears anywhere. I can choose nothing, cannot go further...

Then let loose. And you need to have the moderator permission "move topics" - administrators are not automatically moderators.

There aren't many options, are there?
You either use the fix, if it's been cleared already (I haven't checked), ...or ... wait for 3.3.6
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
