Delete topic

When you delete a topic, does it delete the photos posted in that topic or do they stay on the server?

Yep, the photos go as well, assuming you mean attachments.

Not if they're only embedded photos from a post of a different topic.

FYI Cliff if you go to posting tab under the Attachments settings there is "Orphaned Attachments" link. You may want to check that occasionally, these are files someone uploaded and never hit submit button on the post. They can be safely deleted.
