Users with full inboxes....?

Users with full inboxes....?
So I have several users on my board that have full inboxes. When email notifications go to them, I get a mailer deamon notice that the email bounced because the inbox was full. Is there a way to turn off email notices to only these users? They are active members so I don't want to deactivate their account. They will clear out their inbox, then a few weeks later it's full again....

There's User Notification Control which allows forcing or preventing certain notifications.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.
