Where is "recent searches" list?

Post by bidouille »

Hello,

I updated from 3.1.6 to 3.3.7
Before as Admin, when I gone to search page, I see in bottom the "recent searches".
This list is missing now.
How can I restore it?

AFAIK the recent searches appear when using advanced search.
If you used to see the recent searches by default, you were probably using an extension (or mod).
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

In 3.0.x or 3.1.x: no extension installed
For me, this was a function who has vanished. Sad

It hasn't vanished.

edited: removed some custom code (which I have now tested and didn't work)

Vanished or removed, the result is that "recent seaches" feature is lost.

An easy solution would be to have a look at the files in the backups you made prior to the upgrade, you should be able to see quite easily if there was an extension or mod installed. Failing that I suppose searching the 3.1 database for evidence could help.

I repeat, this is not an extension but a feature in 3.0:

It is on the search page in "advantage search" nothing to do with a extension.
