Hi
As I said here: viewtopic.php?p=15622001#p15622001 you have to look in the responsive.css file

And in this file for version 3.3.2 this does not exist:

Code: Select all

.postprofile_Left .postbody {
		width: calc(100% - 200px - 1px - 31px);
		margin-right: 0;
		/*! margin-left: 31px; */
	}
Sorry for my English ... I do my best!

Any idea how to get it to work with the zoom function?
Yeah it should be pretty easy. I'll post it tomorrow :)

Out of curiosity, do you operate with low zoom on all sites, or just Milk? I've been wondering whether to add a scaleable control to flightdeck that lets you dial down the font-sizes and padding / margins proportionately to each other.
It's site-by-site - dialing down the font sizes and padding/margins would be a very welcome addition to the theme, though!

I think the responsive.css file is not the one from version 3.3.2
In the prosilver theme, it 100% is. Uploaded straight from the full install package, unchanged.

Hi again,

In milk_v2/responsive/responsive.css

Find:

Code: Select all

@media (min-width: 701px) {
	.postbody {
		width: calc(100% - 200px - 1px - 16px);
	}

	.postprofile_Left .postbody {
		width: calc(100% - 200px - 1px - 31px);
		margin-right: 0;
		margin-left: 31px;
	}

	.postprofile {
		width: 200px;
	}
}
Remove margin-left and margin-right to create:

Code: Select all

@media (min-width: 701px) {
	.postbody {
		width: calc(100% - 200px - 1px - 16px);
	}

	.postprofile_Left .postbody {
		width: calc(100% - 200px - 1px - 31px);
	}

	.postprofile {
		width: 200px;
	}
}
Save file and purge cache etc :)

I'll consider an option to dial the padding down. I'm currently working on a new generation of themes which have been built with this specific feature in mind from the start. My eventual goal is to convert Milk to the new framework, so that's the more likely approach rather than adding anything new to flightdeck.

Do your members have an issue with padding / font sizes, or just you? I don't hear much feedback about it when I ask people, but those who emntion it are quite passionate about things being smaller :geek:

Excellent, thank you.

I know a few members prefer smaller font sizes, however, I also have older members who really like larger fonts.

[edit] Made the file changes, and it works like a charm! Perfecto!
