White text doesn't show up on new post

Post by nvisibl »

The text in my posts is set to the colour white.

The post background is black

When I submit a new post the text shows up black on black and can't be read

I need to come out of the post and forum then bac in again before it displays the proper white text

It's very off putting for my user community. Especially those who aren't great with technology

Does anyone know how I can fix so the text stays white on new post submission?

Thank you

It is completely impossible for anyone to help you as you haven't provided links for anyone to see why it's doing that.

That is not the normal settings so the first thing is to set your style to the default prosilver and see if the problem goes away. If it does then there is a problem with the style that you are using and you will need to seek support from the place where you acquired the style.

It may be based on prosilver but it is a modified version. Restore the default prosilver files

Then i'll lose the forum styling creating more of an issue

The syling that's occured has been in the header, and colour scheme

If you want people to help, provide a link to content they can view without having to create an account, or provide them with a ready-made test account and log in details for it. It's pointless playing secret squirrel. This is probably a basic ten second fix, if someone can look at it. ;)

It is because of this line in colours.css file

Code: Select all

.post:target .content {
	color: #000000;
}

And after removing it did you purge both the phpBB cache and your browser cache?
