Hi,

there is obviously a small mistake in the SQL statement within the package:

Please execute the following statement to fix it:

Code: Select all

UPDATE phpbb_config SET config_value = -2 WHERE config_name = 'th23_font_size_min';
That should do the trick :D

Okay, I have done this SQL non query but $th23_font_size has always the value 0. So the MOD simply doesn't work. :(

Regards
Wolfgang

EDIT: It is working now. Maybe you should tell in the install file that you have to purge the cache after installing this MOD.

Sorry for replying that late, but I am quite busy these days... :-/

Thanks, I think I will add that to (nearly) all of my MODs as it becomes important for all additions to the DB

[Change] New phpBB guideline for MOD packaging requires re-packaging and new install XML structure for all MODs :-/
Do we have to change the code in any way?

Thanks for this MOD- I really like it.

Thanks :)

No changes to the code / your installation required...as long as you got it installed and working no changes at all required, as there was only some minor glitch in the install instructions / initial DB settings.

Yes, it is. (Is your board something like a support board for phpBB in turkish language? If yes, you shouldn't need to ask questions like the one above over and over again. ;) )

Compatible "yes", but there are no install instructions included in the package for subsilver...however, this is a rather easy adaptation, which you might be able to do on your own, given some experience with phpBB templates.

Im sure its just me doing something stupid, but I cannot seem to get this mod to work.

I've done the SQL changes and confirmed them using phpmyadmin.
I've x3 checked my changes to functions.php and common.php.
Im pretty sure I did ok with modifying the style but I have a custom skin and had to go off on my own a little.
I have the boards load settings set to recompile stale components but just in case I purged the cache as well.

When I load the page the - A and + form comes up just fine. Problem is they dont do anything.

So I viewed the page source and everything is there it just doesnt recognize the S_TH23_FONT_SIZE and U_TH23_FONT_SIZE template variables. I end up with body {font-size:px}; and <form method="post" action="" id="th23_font_resizing">. Even when I hard code a number in for the S_TH23_FONT_SIZE template variable in th23_font_resizing.php it still isnt recognized.

I'm positive the includes statement in functions.php is correct and th23_font_resizing.php is uploaded properly. Any thoughts on why those template variables aren't being recognized?

EDIT: Just to test changed board to user prosilver style only and edited prosilver's overall_header.html file per the mod's instructions. It does the same thing. None of the template variables are recognized for some reason.
