It changes the Who Is Online page in the way that it doesnt only show the forum the user is in eg "Viewing phbBB 3.0.x" to something like "Viewing "Topic in who is online" in the "phpbb 3.0.x" forum.

How will this mod effect server load time (if any?) Hypothetically, if 50, 100, 500 members were online?

This can be a new MOD :)
I'm very interested in such a new MOD!

I imagine it would have to do with this line of code in the same php file?

Code: Select all

case 'memberlist':
			$location = (strpos($row['session_page'], 'mode=viewprofile') !== false) ? $user->lang['VIEWING_MEMBER_PROFILE'] : $user->lang['VIEWING_MEMBERS'];
			$location_url = append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}memberlist.$phpEx");

running 3.0.1, just installed the mod. For some reason, when a member is viewing the topic, I still see them in the "index" page.... I am using a portal, and when someone clicks on a topic from the latest topic list, it shows the member on index page. However, when a user goes to a topic from the active topics link, then the mod works.

I see the replying working as it should be... "User replying to......."

Request: Is it possible to just make the topic title the link to the post, and the forum catagory a link to itself too?

I'm sorry, do you mean to ask what the template code is for the link in the portal?

I've been everywhere trying to find a code FUNCTION to list "all topic titles" in a particular forum. I thought I might be able to modify yours but I'm just not that savvy with this sort of thing. Working with "database code" is all Greek to me :(

Is there anyway you could help me out? I don't need any bells or whistles, and I don't need permission checking. What I am trying to do retrieve clickable "topic titles" from my events forum so I can list the event in a box on my home page. I can work with and manipulate the returned information from a function, I just cant figure out how to get that info from the database.

Many thanks in advance

Are you sure, you edit common.php in language/en/ folder? What error message you get?
