does your code in viewonline.php does look like this:

Code: Select all

                    case 'viewtopic':
                        // BEGIN: Topic in "Who is online"
                        preg_match('#t=([0-9]+)#', $row['session_page'], $on_page);
                        preg_match('#p=([0-9]+)#', $row['session_page'], $on_page_p);
                        if (sizeof($on_page) && isset($topic_titles[$on_page[1]]))
                        {
                            $location = sprintf($user->lang['READING_TOPIC_TOPIC'], $forum_data[$forum_id]['forum_name'], $topic_titles[$on_page[1]]);
                            $location_url = append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}viewtopic.$phpEx", 'f=' . $forum_id . '&t=' . $on_page[1]);
                        }
                        else if (sizeof($on_page_p) && isset($topic_post_ids[$on_page_p[1]]))
                        {
                            $location = sprintf($user->lang['READING_TOPIC_TOPIC'], $forum_data[$forum_id]['forum_name'], $topic_titles[$topic_post_ids[$on_page_p[1]]]);
                            $location_url = append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}viewtopic.$phpEx", 'f=' . $forum_id . '&p=' . $on_page_p[1]);
                        }
                        else
                        {
                            $location = sprintf($user->lang['READING_TOPIC'], $forum_data[$forum_id]['forum_name']);
                        }
                        // END: Topic in "Who is online"
                    break;
If not, change it. If yes, post your whole viewonline.php-code so I could take a look...

And of course you need the rights to view hidden users (e.g. admin) to view the topic in which they're reading, if they are hidden...

Still any answers as to why this mod wont work correctly when using a portal? when users click on a topic from the portal block, the user is still seen as looking at the "index".

also, how much coding will it take to view which user profile that person is viewing too?

I installed this mod, I probably shouldn't have.
Im still on 3.0.1 as 2 of the mods mean I cant move to 3.0.2

The mod looked simple enough - change 2 files only. i thought if i do the few changes and if it doesnt work I can copy the original files back over (as no schema/sql changes).

Well the mod didnt work so I put the original two files back but Im getting errors :!: :!:

Fatal error: Call to a member function session_begin() on a non-object in /mounted-storage/home98b/sub009/sc44958-UVPX/investmenttrainingreview.co.uk/index.php on line 24
That isnt even one of the files I edited.

That should have fixed it no?

Any Ideas please? :oops:

I have phpBB 3.0.0 and I installed this mod.

But in Who is on line page, I see:

Reading topic Topic_Name in Forum_Name
Replying to message in topic in Forum_Name

I don't see the topic name in replying case.

1. For previosu poster - Screenshot is:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p6156625

2. I saw a post very early on in this thread that talks about version 1 of this mod which was for 3.0.1 - I see that that version is now unsupported probably for the reason that now we are on 3.0.2 and there is also a new version of the mod. Is that the only reason or were there any serious problems with the mod?

I am still on 3.0.1 - is there a problem with me installing the version 1 of this mod?
