Couldn't find the line to edit in the file you specified but I found it here --> includes/functions_notify_moderators.php?

Also, are there any additional edits for Subsilver2 template?

I cannot recreate this at all. Does it show just on the index or is it showing on viewforum and/or viewtopic?
Found that this mod New post count on Index was causing both "Show report count and queue count on index" to show all the time.

Looks like the radial button bug is fixed. Will let you know if I still get notification for all posts.

Sorry - you are right. I have changed it.

I have no experience of that mod but I will try and have a look.

@Meleman - both of these mods are using the same $post_count variable which is why you are getting the problem.

Hello,

I'm keen to install this mod, what is the current state of install? :geek:

Do I have to do all the fixes on the first page? or are they now included in the downloadable file? :D

Thanks

You will have to do the edits on the first page as I have not resubmitted it yet - just in case any other issues come to light!

David, I have version 3.0.1 of phpbb, but I can't find the lines you said to search for in these files!
=======================================================================
adm/style/acp_users_prefs.html
includes/acp/acp_users.php
includes/ucp/ucp_prefs.php
styles/prosilver/template/ucp_prefs_personal.html
=======================================================================
I even searched in the files within the file I downloaded from this forum.

I'm i missing something? For example, in the modifications you said to search for:

<label for="notifypm2">

But all I could find was:

<label for="notifypm">

I found all the stuff in the functions.......php file.

Thanks...

Hi there.
I am interested in using this MOD but would love to know if there was a bug free version due for release anytime soon?

This looks like a great mod.
Do we still have to make the changes mentioned on the first page, or has everything been integrated in the mod?

I have two patches for this module:

open: functions_notify_moderators.php
find:

Code: Select all

$topic_url = generate_board_url() . '/viewtopic.' . $phpEx . '?f=' . $notify_ary['forum_id'] . '&p=' . $notify_ary['post_id'];
replace with:

Code: Select all

$topic_url = generate_board_url() . '/viewtopic.' . $phpEx . '?f=' . $notify_ary['forum_id'] . '&p=' . $notify_ary['post_id'] . '#p' . $notify_ary['post_id'];
That updates the url in the email so it will jump directly to the post in the web page instead of the top of the thread.

open: includes/acp/acp_notify_moderators.php
find:

Code: Select all

                                $sql = 'SELECT u.user_id, u.username, u.username_clean, u.user_lastvisit, u.user_colour, u.user_notify_type, u.notify_moderator
                                        FROM ' . USERS_TABLE . ' u
                                        WHERE ' . $db->sql_in_set('u.user_id', array_unique($mod_notify_ary)) . '
                                        GROUP BY u.user_id
                                        ORDER BY u.username_clean ASC';
replace with:

Code: Select all

                                $sql = 'SELECT u.user_id, u.username, u.username_clean, u.user_lastvisit, u.user_colour, u.user_notify_type, u.notify_moderator
                                        FROM ' . USERS_TABLE . ' u
                                        WHERE ' . $db->sql_in_set('u.user_id', array_unique($mod_notify_ary)) . '
                                        GROUP BY u.user_id, u.username, u.username_clean, u.user_lastvisit, u.user_colour, u.user_notify_type, u.notify_moderator
                                        ORDER BY u.username_clean ASC';
This fixes sql errors with postgres.

Great module, how about a new release?

Hello,

I don't get any notifications. What can I do? I have done the edits on page 1.

My forum uses Norwegian language, should I copy any of the files from .../language/en/ to .../language/nb/ ? (which is Norwegian language)
