you can upload the install folder, point to the install/index.php in your browser and click uninstall.

Originally, I sent out the reminders myself (a month or so ago when I installed the mod). After that, I set it up to automated. If working properly, every month or so it will send out reminders to users that either haven't logged on for three months or so, or who haven't posted in that time. However, one of my users who I sent a reminder to last month just got another reminder. The strange thing is he has been active since he got the original reminder, logging on and posting at least every other day or so. This is what he got:

Code: Select all

I sent out the first reminder manually December 5th. It worked, and got him to log on at least four times a week, and post every few days or so.

The user is shown in the acp only under 2nd Reminders. He is not under Inactive Users, despite getting the 2nd reminder based on supposed inactivity.

Thanks,
do you have any mods installed other than user reminder, do you use prosilver, did you doublecheck your edits already? when you look at the users profile and the memberlist, are the activity dates different from each other?

in the second reminder part where he shows, do you see the dates when he got his first reminder? 5 December?

that should have cleared when he logged on...

difficult to troubleshoot without actually seeing it myself.

Hi i have successfully installed this mod but i have few questions...

During installation there was couple of errors about missing files in my language/bg/directory
[acp_user_reminder.php] [info_acp_user_reminder.php]
So I copied the same ones from the english language folder to bulgarian language folder
and installation went without more errors...
• is this the right way to do it ?
• is there anything to translate for the users side in these two files?
• actually where i should start translating cuz i can`t find the emails folder as noted in previus post i saw?
I already have inactive users and the mod have already enlisted them... that is great !

I have added as instructed [add in-line] in my fae forest template the code needed.
And now the line in memberlist_search.html looks like

Code: Select all

opener.document.forms['{S_FORM_NAME}'].{S_FIELD_NAME}.value = user;( opener.document.forms['{S_FORM_NAME}'].{S_FIELD_NAME}.value.length && opener.document.forms['{S_FORM_NAME}'].{S_FIELD_NAME}.id == "user_reminder_protected_users" ) ? opener.document.forms['{S_FORM_NAME}'].{S_FIELD_NAME}.value + ", " + user :
note: added is after opener.document.forms['{S_FORM_NAME}'].{S_FIELD_NAME}.value = user;
Have I placed it in the right place?

How to add reminders for people without avatars?

That is ALl, Congrats for the great mod!

yes, that's the right way

yes, the email texts need to be translated in the language folder. otherwise, users will get an english one.
they are in language/en/email/ normally so they would be in language/bg/email/

looks ok, the easiest way to check it is to go to the user reminder part in the acp and in the configuration bit, click on find a new member and click on a few. if they get entered into the text field, the edit is correct :)
greenwizard wrote:How to add reminders for people without avatars?
i dont understand what you mean by that as the mod doesn't look at avatars.
