This mod has been updated to 1.0.4.
http://www.lithiumstudios.org/forum/vie ... f=31&t=579
  • Updating the install instructions to be simpler and more compatible.
  • The forum selection list is now hidden by javascript if/when the all forums checkbox is checked.
  • Adding a record of when an advertisement was created viewable in the ACP (this will say N/A for ads created before updating to 1.0.4).
  • Adding the option to display ads until a certain date or for a certain number of days.
  • Adding the option to save note(s) along with the advertisement which are visible in the ACP.
The language files have been updated, so any translations will need to be redone. Old translation packages are available here for those who want to re-do them:
http://svn.lithiumstudios.org/EXreactio ... nslations/

Is it possible to have a list of ads, and have them appear in order/random order as the pages are refreshed or changed?

Just added new tokens (I think).

For updating I recommend you use a diff tool. If you use Windows you can use WinMerge. Then download both the .3 and .4 packages from here:
http://svn.exreaction.webfactional.com/ ... anagement/

Then compare the language files to see what was changed and update the language file to follow those changes.

Yes, I have a feeling that may confuse people. But strtotime also has some neat stuff like +1 week, next Thursday, etc. :)

I know that the instructions say:

Open: styles/prosilver/template/overall_footer.html
Find
Tip: This may be a partial find and not the whole line.

Code: Select All
</div>
Add after
Tip: Add these lines on a new blank line after the preceding line(s) to find.

Code: Select All
{ADS_7}

There are about 7-8 </div> tags. It doesn't say to add that after each one, but is that the idea? Also there is the following code:

Code: Select all

<span class="corners-bottom"><span></span></span></div>
	</div>
Which </div> do you add the {ADS_7} after??

Ok, I've got some questions:

1) I've installed the MOD, but can only get the ads to show up before or after the header. If I set the ad to only show in a particular forum, after the 1st post, it doesn't show up.

2) Is there a way to center the ad?

Code: Select all

<center>ad here</center>

Make sure your template cache is cleared and is refreshed.
