Open your ACP and click on the system tab.
After that click on "Administration Control Panel" under Module Management in the left sidebar.
Now click on .MODs.
There you should have the category Portal. If you click on it, you should see several modules. If you don't see those modules, then they haven't been correctly installed. Try uninstalling and re-installing the Portal using the Installer.

Yes, that's how mine is; a separate 'Mods' tab with the portal in it.

Hi
I've added a new style to my forum where I can add titles the frames that go around the portal block.
What I want to know is how can I remove the portal title and background color that it is on.
See image below, i want to remove the word Recent and the greyish color that it sits on.
Thanks

How did you add those borders?
You can define the borders for the blocks in styles/jardin/template/portal/_block_config.html

The borders came with the new style I added, all I did was to place the code around the portal blocks.

It's not the borders that I want to define I just want to remove the grey bar and the name Recent.

If you correctly define the borders in _block_config.html, then you will not see the gray bar anymore. In my opinion it is a lot easier than editing every block file and removing the borders from those files.

Edited this out in colors.css and grey bars have gone.

Code: Select all

  background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/bg_list.gif");
