Re-upload the install files and select "Uninstall" on the installer page.
Out of interest why are you uninstalling?
I've changed my mind and I will keep it. :D
There is a problem with "Clock", it doesn't show up in IE6 or IE7. Could it be fixed?
It works for me, even though, on my board I notice some of the headers do not show up in IE6 (appear fine in 7 and firefox). In fact, I have even changed my flash clock. I plan on making a random clock viewer.

Fridge wrote:I'm a bit confused.....at my board i use Board3portal 1.0.0RC2, and that equals the validated release ?
So...to update to the latest release i must download 1.0.1 and use from this package the update_board3portal_100rc2.xml from the contrib folder ?
Is it possible to get a answer to my question please :)

Anyone else having the same problem? (header will not display portal links and blocks do not have background image/frame)
I obviously made a mistake on installing but I am unable to find it even after reviewing changes.
Thanks in advance.

The edit in the overall header seems to get rid of the nav link bar. I myself skipped that part. ( not the home link )

and it looks like you haven't included the portal.css in your prosilver/theme/stylesheat.css or have not uploaded it yet or have not refreshed your theme. :)

Yes, should be that way.
We gonna clean up the next days, as we had this validation / final release hickup.
And i've been in holidays the last weeks, so avaren had to do all on his own.
We clean up with the upcoming version 1.0.2, which will be a "remove any validation hickup rests" release.
Means - update the install / update instructions, etc.
Sorry for the inconveniences, we'll get it back in line and order from now on. ;)

Thanks for answer!
Hmmm, I have uploaded portal.css and @import url("portal.css") on prosilver stylesheet and refreshed theme...
But still I think I am missing something. My phpBB3 installation was clean before the addon installation.
I don't want to reinstall everything from the beginning :)

I have a few MOD on my board, and I was a clean upgrade frin 2.0.forgot to 3RC5 to 3.0.1 and minus some minor uglies in IE6, everything else looks fine. Maybe you made a slight type-o on your edits :)

My preference, by the way, is prosilver over subsilver2

Okay, I finally got it to play, thanks for answers.
I had to prune the cache -.-
Everything seems to be working now except one little detail.
As you can see from the following screenshot, the width of the portal is not scaled very well.
Header width seems to be around 95% while the rest of the portal has 100%.
Is there a way to fix this? Did I forget to do something?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks! It was a wonderful time and now it's so cold in Hamburg. ;)

We probably release 1.0.2 tomorrow. A cleaned up version with all update instructions and ModX 1.2.1.
Hopefully it will be added to the mod DB fast.

Though (Update from version 1.0.1) installation explanation following:

Code: Select all

File Copy

Copy: root/install_portal/*.*
To: install_portal/*.*
Copy: root/install_portal/schemas/*.*
To: install_portal/schemas/*.*
Copy: root/language/en/mods/lang_portal_acp.php
To: language/en/mods/lang_portal_acp.php
Copy: root/portal/block/announcements.php
To: portal/block/announcements.php
Copy: root/portal/block/news.php
To: portal/block/news.php
Copy: root/styles/prosilver/theme/portal.css
To: styles/prosilver/theme/portal.css
But I can't see 1.0.2 there are to language file and style any change. :?
