It can only post text, not links. Oh. What shall I do?

By the way the URL, I inverted the letters, and here is the correction: http://www.bSWa.org/audio/podcast/AjahnBrahm.rss.php

The other thing I would like to do would be to post news stories from this rss feed, but it is XML: http://www.buddhistchannel.tv/content/tbcrss.xml

I have 3 copies of each post :(

Same problem here.... 3 copies of each post.

I have *finally* figured out the duplicate-posts issue, .....

////

Since making these changes, I have not seen any duplicate posts!

That's good, I have a discussion with the MOD TEAM about the session_id, but they insist that have to remain, I will try to disable it :D

Thanks a lot !
Hi,

I am seeing the feed properly with Google Reader. However, I had reports with users using Newsfire MacOSX and the Brief Firefox plugin, amongst others, and they keep getting duplicates. Is there a proper solution for this?

Thank you in advance!

The version in phpbb is the 104, for the moment the mod team didn't approved a new version, but the last release is the 109 ONLY AVAILABLE AND SUPPORTED IN MY FORUM :D

The email works like in phpbb, the user decided to display it or not trough the UCP settings :D

Did some crosschecking and almost everyone have this disabled, so why its showing i don't know.
When i compare 1.04 and 1.09 the loading time of the rss feed in 1.09 is much longer.

Re: RSS Feed 2.0 - problems with google apps

Post by TAXfromDK »

Hi Guys,

I would like for the feed to work with my google startpage, but I have not been able to make it work.

I try to enter it in the "Slim RSS reader", which works with most rss feeds, but with no result.

I have tried comparing the output of the rss.php page with other working sites and it seems they are a bit different in the beginning.

My rss.php gives.
"

Code: Select all

"

Where another one that works in my google app gives

"

Code: Select all

Spiludvikling.dk

"
I have also tried to see if the validator could point it out.
http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi
Any ideas?

Kind regards

Jesper

The google app does has not got access to my login credentials, hense no output.

Is there a way to give theese credentials to the "myforum.com/rss.php" url?

Hi All I install this today and it seems to work fine however, for some strange reason it is calling up an old copy of my forum.

I have installed it here http://www.discussuc.com/phpbb3

and yet when you click on the RSS icon you get http://www.discussuc.com/dean which is where I have an old copy of my forum

Anyone have any though on why this would be ?

Thanks
