No that's not the way it works. If you have a subsilver2 based template you need to make the same edits to the files found in that templates directory as it states to do to subsilver2 files.

Just search for

Code: Select all

{TOTAL_POSTS}
and In-line Add before

Code: Select all

{POSTS_PER_DAY} |

alright, so I found {TOTAL_POSTS} in index_body.html of aerogreen theme

and the line looks like this

<td class="row1" width="100%" valign="middle"><p class="genmed">{TOTAL_POSTS} | {TOTAL_TOPICS} | {TOTAL_USERS} | {NEWEST_USER}</p></td>

so after adding {POSTS_PER_DAY}

it should look like this

<td class="row1" width="100%" valign="middle"><p class="genmed">{POSTS_PER_DAY} | {TOTAL_POSTS} | {TOTAL_TOPICS} | {TOTAL_USERS} | {NEWEST_USER}</p></td>

??

so I edit all these files , and upload to the various folders on my server ftp , and overwrite the previous files .

what do i do after that ? where do i clear the cache from ?

also i don't need to edit subsilver2 index_body.html file right ?

Do you get errors or does it simply not work at all - did you try it twice to make sure (and do not forget to purge the cache after tampering with templat files!)?

i get no errors, it simple doesn't show up any where. I was looking under the usernames in topics.

Cache is purged, theme and everything was refreshed
