Code: Select all

// BEGIN Topic Post Text Mod
			'FIRST_TEXT_HOVER'	=> (isset($first_text_hover)) ? censor_text($first_text_hover) : '',
			'LAST_TEXT_HOVER'	=> (isset($last_text_hover)) ? censor_text($last_text_hover) : '',

I think there are some things wrong in the install_mod.xml v1.0.6
for example editing includes/ucp/ucp_prefs.php:

Code: Select all

        	<edit>
    			<find><![CDATA[					'wordcensor'	=>]]></find>
    			<action type="after-add"><![CDATA[ // BEGIN Topic Title Hover Mod
					'text_hover'	=> request_var('text_hover', (int) $user->data['user_text_hover']),
					// END Topic Title Hover Mod]]></action>
            </edit>
after-add?? shouldn't be "before-add"?

and here the same:

Code: Select all

			<edit>
			    <find><![CDATA[				'POST_ID'			=>]]></find>
			    <action type="after-add"><![CDATA[ // BEGIN Topic Post Text Mod
				'FIRST_TEXT_HOVER'	=> (isset($first_text_hover)) ? censor_text($first_text_hover) : '',
				'LAST_TEXT_HOVER'	=> (isset($last_text_hover)) ? censor_text($last_text_hover) : '',
				'LAST_POST_IMG'		=> $user->img('icon_topic_latest'),
				// END Topic Post Text Mod]]></action>
            </edit>
I think that's why niniaka99 get that error.

Uhmmm, no. A FIND can be a partial line and is may not be the entire line to find.

When I upgrade this mod from 1.0.4 to 1.0.6 will it be enabled or disabled by default in the UCP?
I don't really want the users to notice anything different at first sight...

Users selection, IIRC, isn't affected.

Maybe I misunderstand :?: How can it not be affected when I'm adding it for the first time?

How can you be installing it for the first time if you originally said this
When I upgrade this mod from 1.0.4 to 1.0.6...
Generally "upgrade" means it is installed already. If you're installing it for the first time there is nothing to upgrade just install the mod.

I mean I'm adding the function that users can set in their own profile if they want the popup or not, they can't do that with 1.0.4. Right now everybody sees it whether they like it or not. I was just curious what the default setting in the UCP will be, on or off.

in the UCP u will find : Disable text hover: Yes - No

:lol:

I thought you meant the entry in the users profile instead of the config setting.

Has no effect mod will still be enabled on the forum as eman80 stated.

Hi,

This is the first MOD I'm adding to our forum and I'm unsure of the process. I upload it through our FTP server but into which file?

Hi, I have this mod installed but it seems to affect more than just the topic links.

The tooltip is applied to my menu bar (custom, in my header) and to other links such as "User Control Panel" and "Logout".

How can I fix this?
