Is there any way to allow users make blog posts only if they have made a certain number of posts within the forum?

Thanks in advance. Human spammers are really spoiling the blogging fun.

Once 3.0.6 comes out it'll be possible, just don't give permission to the newly registered users group to post blog entries.

Uh..got this on the database install o.o

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 2923: file(../styles/The Crusading Skillers Default/imageset/imageset.cfg) [function.file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 2926: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /umil/umil.php on line 836: file_get_contents(../styles/prosilver_left/theme/blog.css) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /umil/umil.php on line 836: file_get_contents(../styles/prosilver_left/theme/highslide/highslide.css) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: Not a directory
Well seems to work so I guess that's not an issue.

Your problem is right there. On line 1647 there is a { that shouldn't be there.

Replace this:

Code: Select all

// Start User Blog Mod ----------------------
				global $phpEx;
				include("{$phpbb_root_path}blog/includes/functions_admin.$phpEx");
				blog_remove_style($style_id, $new_id);
				// End User Blog Mod ------------------------
With this:

Code: Select all

// Start User Blog Mod ----------------------
				global $phpEx;
				include("$phpbb_root_path}blog/includes/functions_admin.$phpEx");
				blog_remove_style($style_id, $new_id);
				// End User Blog Mod ------------------------
The it should work. You just had to take the '{' out of "include("$phpbb_root_path}blog/includes/functions_admin.$phpEx");"...

And EXreaction; long time, no see... I just re-installed this MOD on my new forum it works great. ;)
Then I get this problem

Code: Select all

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/laisvailaikis/public_html/includes/acp/acp_styles.php on line 1647

Just saw that I'm getting:

Code: Select all

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DOUBLE_ARROW in /home1/crusadin/public_html/forums/viewtopic.php on line 1118
Some help would be appreciated :)

Why can't you give more details? :roll:

Have you opened your eyes?
Is your monitor turned on?
Have you looked into the ACP's MOD-Tab?

Or a better question: Have you run the installer and uploaded all files?

Hi there!
I've installed the mod, eveything went fine, working great! thank г for this m this great mod, but I'm having 1 problem. When I try to moderate my blog clicking "moderation" I'm getting this error:
Module not accessible.

This happens when I try to reach for this adress - board/mcp.php?i=blog.

Please help me, because entries should be moderated anyway. Thank you!

How can I make the latest blog post title with a link to the post appear in the signature of the blog owner. This will encourage other members to read blogs more often.

If you have an idea, just post the code here. I'm comfortable with edits.

Thanks in advance. ;)
