Just curious. Is it possible to obtain DIY instructions for prosilver and subsilver based themes?

I have downloaded the zipped file and uncompressed it but I really can't seem to "get my head around it."

In the main installation file (install.xml) are the prosilver edits included which you can use a prosilver-based style. The subsilver2 edits are in the directory contrib, subsilver2.xml.

If the edits don't work, then please show me the style you're using and I'll try to find the correct edits for you.

DanielaK

If you go back to previous posts in this forum (back one page will cover it) you will see some discussion about being able to change the colour in the ACP.

DanielaK, please be patient, I'm not here all the time and will be happy to assist you when you just wait until I'm here. :)

You can edit the colour in the ACP, General tab, Board settings.

I just tried to install this mod, and after doing all steps, I'm trying to enter my forum, but there's nothing at all, just a blank white page.

http://designadinblogg.se/forum

What the **** has happened?

When I check the source code, it's all blank too.

Now i know what my mistake is.

I uploaded the common.php file in the root, which replaced the original one.

Now, the question is, where can i get my hands on the common.php file that is placed in root?

Hello,

Í have phpbb3 installed and the feature looked important to me so i investigated how the forum handles the coloring of posts without this mod. I'm confused because it seems that my board does already does change the color of the topic-title and forum-name when there are new posts in it.

Do i miss something?

Kind regards,

Richard

Thanks for making this mod, looks useful :)

Quick question if anyone can help please.

At the moment a user must be logged in before they can see the "colored link when new post" ....

Is there anyway to edit this so that guest/not logged n user can see the colored new post links?

thanks! :D

No, that's not possible.
There is only one account that will guests use in phpBB3, so tracking what posts are new isn't possible.

hmm that is actually possible.. if you set the permissions right. although it has in my opinion little value..
