Well... that sort of narrows it down :P :lol:

Where do I have to do the ADD, AFTER?
You add it after the first line consisting of a single close brace without leading tabs.

Edit: After line 17 in includes/bbcode.php

Code: Select all

{
	exit;
}
Wouldn't that be a better find then? They should change it to be more specific really ;)

So... it should be....

FIND: includes_bbcode.php

Code: Select all

{
	exit;
}
ADD AFTER:

Code: Select all

//-- Quote User Back Link
//-- Add:
if (!function_exists('qubl_parse'))
{
	include ($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/mods/functions_qubl.' . $phpEx);
}
//-- End Quote User Back Link
Hope that helps out other people, and thanks Hww for your help to :)

That would be possibly, but I'm lazy 8-). Besides that the instructions are correct. Because the installation instructions are listed from the top of the file to the bottom, so the finds always contain the first occurrence of that line, seen from the location you are in the file.
Thus if it is the first find for a file it is always the very first occurrence. For the following up finds it is always the first occurrence of the find after the last edit ;).

Erik is just saying that all edits contained in MODX instructions are to be made in order, starting at the top of the file.

The first "Find" is the first occurrence of the text in the file.

The second "Find" is the first occurrence of the text after the location of the first edit.

And so on.

I found a bug sir Erik.

When the author we want to quote contains space or special character, the link automatically disable. :D

It works on my installation correctly. Can you provide a link to a post with the problem (and test account if required to see the problem)

There is something funky with that name. Because my own name works fine on my test board, but I just created a user with that name and it indeed breaks. The following release however seems to fix this, it is caused by a dumb mistake of mine. The fix is:
Open: includes/mods/functions_qubl.php; Find (line 46):

Code: Select all

WHERE username_clean = '" . $db->sql_escape(utf8_clean_string($username_clean)) . "'";
Replace-with:

Code: Select all

WHERE username_clean = '" . $db->sql_escape($username_clean) . "'";

Should we all update functions_qubl.php using this, Erik?

It isn't a direct requirement although it is the best thing to do to prevent possible problems with UTF-8 characters in usernames. As soon my last release is validated I'll submit an update that holds this change and a minor performance enhancement.
