i have this installed on 9 different styles, most are subsilver2 based, and with some minor template tweaks, it should blend with just about every style out there ;)

The mod is working mega fine!!!

But I wanna know something, how do I change the "recent topics" font color to match the color my category titles have, also I'll like to capitalize "recent topics" = Recent topics" 8-)

Take a look to know what I mean: http://forum.newmodcity.com

Thanks!

as for the capitalization, edit "info_acp_recenttopics.php" in the root\language\en\mods folder :D

This Mod is working like a charm but i think you must add an Ajax Version of Recent Topics which will automaticly changes without refresh of the Page! Like in IPB! :D

Hello,

I noticed that one of the files to be added for this mod is install/index.php

Copying that file will overwrite the original file that came with phpbb3.

I know you are supposed to delete the install directory after installing phpbb, but what I do is that I create my pre-modded version of phpbb on a test server so I can later install everything at once on my live server (which is currently running phpbb2) and in this way minimize the time that the forum will be down during the transition from phpbb2 to phobb3.

So, what should I do to install this mod on my test server without overwriting the original install.php? Can I just rename the install/index.php to install/nv_recent_topics.php , or I will need to make some more changes?

Thank you

Hello,

I've installed the module and It is really what I was looking for. IMO it's a must-have on any forum...

I'm just having a little problem that maybe you might be able to help me:

The "last post" link on "Recent Topics" on the main page has this form "http://foroparados.net/topic17.html&p=42#p42,". So I get a 404 error every time I click on it.

Nonetheless the "last post" link on "Recent Topics" when on a sub forum page has this form "http://foroparados.net/topic17.html#p42", and so it works.

Why should it exhibit this two different linking forms, depending on if we are navigating the first page or a sub forum page?

Can I correct this?

Many thanks for any help...

In Recent Topics, under the 'Topics' column, the last poster's name appears as opposed to the author.

For example, let's say I'm the last poster, it shows:

NV Recent Topics
[ Go to page: 1, 2, 3, 4 ]
by jaztar » 23 Mar 2009, 21:47 in Coffee Break

In fact, it should show the name of the topic author.

Can you please assist with this problem I'm having with your MOD. Cheers! ;)

I need a little help. This is the first mod I have ever installed. I just started my first forum a couple days ago. I installed the mod and its exactly what I was looking for. Problem is I can only seem to get it to show in subsilver not sub2. I know this was discussed earlier in this thread but I can't figure it out.

I also tried lowering the code to get it to show on the bottom with no luck but I'll work more on that later.

Is how much info that is shown for the recent topics customizable?

And thanks all you phpbb experts for these mods and for helping dumb newbs like myself.

**UPDATE** its showing up now but real screwy looking , here is a pic
