The simple ones always seem to get me. Can't get this to show up.

Can someone have a look at the moded script attachments.

Must be doing something basic wrong.

viewtopic_body.html

Code: Select all

		<div class="back2top" style="float:right;"><a href="#wrap" class="top" title="{L_BACK_TO_TOP}">{L_BACK_TO_TOP}</a></div>
		<div style="float:right; padding-right:6px; margin-top:-6px;"><!-- IF postrow.U_PRINT_POST --><a href="{postrow.U_PRINT_POST}" title="{L_PRINT_POST}" class="print"><span>{L_PRINT_POST}</span></a><!-- ENDIF --></div>
		<div class="back2top"><a href="#wrap" class="top" title="{L_BACK_TO_TOP}">{L_BACK_TO_TOP}</a></div>
should be

Code: Select all

		<div class="back2top" style="float:right;"><a href="#wrap" class="top" title="{L_BACK_TO_TOP}">{L_BACK_TO_TOP}</a></div>
		<div style="float:right; padding-right:6px; margin-top:-6px;"><!-- IF postrow.U_PRINT_POST --><a href="{postrow.U_PRINT_POST}" title="{L_PRINT_POST}" class="print"><span>{L_PRINT_POST}</span></a><!-- ENDIF --></div>
then make sure you refresh the template in the ACP.

Ok thanks I can see the print icon now but it moves about. The screenshots show that in a short message (top shot) the print icon moves position but in a longer message (below shot) the print icon goes to the correct position.

You have your forum inside a frameset. So that may have something to do with it. Other than that your edits to your real forum (www.clbourne.com) look fine so not sure as to why that is occurring as I can not reproduce the problem.

Concerning the smilies, ermmm, they used to work when print viewing the entire page of the topic also but now do not...probably a bug for 3.0.5, not sure why they wouldn't show up. Do they show up for you if you click the print view for the topic at the top of the forum?
You are quite right, print topic icon in the top doesn't show or print smilies either....but if you go to user control panel - private message - and check a pm with smilie and click the same print icon, then smilies shows up?

I have a problem with smilies. They don't show up in print view. And not even the smilie code show up if I remove the fix mentioned in previous post ($message = smiley_text($message);) . Anybody knows why.
Yes, this works fine on a 3.0.5 forum.

:)

[EDIT]In fact the smiley posted above doesn't print from here using the print view icon...seems to be a bug and a ticket would need to be opened in the bug tracker.[/EDIT]
Got an answer from bug team, you can find the fix here http://code.phpbb.com/repositories/diff/phpbb?rev=9753

Now it works :D

Try upgrading IE6 to either IE7 or 8.
