zake black,

I would need to see your aboutus.php file. Could you please PM it to me so as not to distract from this topic?

To exclude admins and mods

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p9291425

concerning "threads" (eg posts). This mod does that already, sort of, if there is a new post within a topic and the user has the auths to read that forum the topic is in then it will show as a newer post.

In "topic" and By "is the original poster who started the topic.."

And not the last poster in that topic ?

how can that be set ?
Open includes/top_five.php

Find

Code: Select all

		'LEFT_JOIN'	=> array(
			array(
				'FROM'	=> array(USERS_TABLE => 'u'),
				'ON'	=> 'p.poster_id = u.user_id',
   			),
Replace with

Code: Select all

		'LEFT_JOIN'	=> array(
			array(
				'FROM'	=> array(USERS_TABLE => 'u'),
				'ON'	=> 't.topic_last_poster_id = u.user_id',
   			),
Only change the line with 'ON' ;)
OK - this does what I needed.

I noticed something with the new 3.06 board. I set the permission to NONE for certain forums to be displayed and accessible for the newly registered user. But they can see those topics in the top 5 and if they click on them they will see the forum.. :cry:

Any fix for it?

I would open a support ticket as it would seem your permissions are not set up correctly.

Can I ask how can I use table rows to separate the lines?

Just like this:

Top Active Posters:
User1 | 1000 posts
________________
User2 | 980 posts
________________
User3 | 800 posts
________________

because I have other mods as well that adds the images to the username (which makes the "user" collumn taller than the "number of posts" collumn), so using no table would cause the format list to be out of order (mismatch lines)

thanks!
