Your host may not allow that directive. You'd have to ask them about it.

Is there something i can do to have control what is first on front page

Cheers Sean
The block is "Recent Announcements", so yes it's time based. I suppose you could change to query to order it by descending topic type so that globals and stickies show up first.
what would i have to do to make say anouncements to be 1st in order and then i could have sticky as the rest
help would be greatfull :mrgreen:

Any idea how to change the name of the page from untitled document to my site name? I never realized until now I looked at the browser tab it reads as "untitled document"

Thanks in advance!

EDIT : Any answer to this yet? I know it's probably something simple... :?

Problem solved

I guess you didn't look into it, since I pretty much gave away how to do it. ;)

Open: includes/function_portal.php
Find: Line 249, fetch_topics()

Code: Select all

	    ORDER BY topic_last_post_time DESC';
Replace with:

Code: Select all

	    ORDER BY topic_type DESC, topic_last_post_time DESC;

Hi, i've followed all the instruction for the easyportal, but then when i open my website i'm getting this error:

easyPortal has not yet been installed. See the DIY section of the MODX file for installation instructions.

Anyone can help me with this ? I'm using CA_Black theme, when i edit the files, instead of edit in prosilver, i edit my ca_black files.

EDIT: Nvm I solved this problem! thx anyway!! :) :)

hello!

I think this is a great MOD and I am using it.
But I have a little problem, whenever I try to post a new topic on forum i get this

Code: Select all

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/vol5/byethost2.com/b2_2634589/lauda.bd-tehnicka.co.cc/htdocs/cache/tpl_Lauda_posting_body.html.php on line 1381
I've tried to delete cache, but I get the same. :(

This is the code from cache file:

Code: Select all

		<table class="tablebg" width="100%" cellspacing="<?php echo (isset($this->_tpldata['DEFINE']['.']['CA_SPACING'])) ? $this->_tpldata['DEFINE']['.']['CA_SPACING'] : ''; ?>">

		<tr>

			<td class="cat"><h4><?php echo ((isset($this->_rootref['L_WHO_IS_ONLINE'])) ? $this->_rootref['L_WHO_IS_ONLINE'] : ((isset($user->lang['WHO_IS_ONLINE'])) ? $user->lang['WHO_IS_ONLINE'] : '{ WHO_IS_ONLINE }')); ?></h4></td>

		</tr>

		<tr>

			<td class="row1"><span class="gensmall"><?php echo (isset($this->_rootref['LOGGED_IN_USER_LIST'])) ? $this->_rootref['LOGGED_IN_USER_LIST'] : ''; ?></span></td>

		</tr>

		</table>

	<?php } ?>

	<br clear="all <-- This is the last line.
and this is the code from template file:

Code: Select all

	<table class="tablebg" width="100%" cellspacing="{$CA_SPACING}">

		<tr>

			<td class="cat"><h4>{L_WHO_IS_ONLINE}</h4></td>

		</tr>

		<tr>

			<td class="row1"><span class="gensmall">{LOGGED_IN_USER_LIST}</span></td>

		</tr>

		</table>

	<!-- ENDIF -->

	<br clear="all
	<!-- ENDIF --> <-- This is the last line.
It's all around that line that makes error.

Thank you!!! :)

This isn't dire, but is it possible to put rank, title, and custom profile fields onto the portal? I realize it's something that I'll have to editto the PHP file (along with the html), I just... Have no idea how. Copying some snippets of code from viewtopic.php didn't work. Haha.

edit: ohohohoho and adding the friends online/offline?

Me too, because I installed it........and nothing. No changes what so ever.

We could really use some direction here.
