Re: phpBB Mood Swings

Post by Mudjosh »

I was looking for a way to let users change their mood within a topic (As moods change frequently and it is a good bit of trouble to go to the ucp everytime) but I read how it would take ajax and would be really too much work for this mod.. (Or too much weight or something like that.. )

Is there no other way besides Ajax?

Maybe clicking a link under the mood images and a pop-up shows the settings?
I guess that would be alot of work just for that though..

Anyway.. I was just curious if there was really no way at all.. :(

----

But the reason I am sad, is how amazing this mod is! I saw a forum using it, and it inspired me to use it on my new forum. I have thought about using similar mods but didn't figure anyone would ever change their mood, but on FP, it is a hit.. They love it!

So thank you for creating this! It is great! :D

Thanks but I already know that, no point releasing a new version yet though untill 3.0.6 goes gold because the mod needs an update to work with it so that would mean 2 updates in a short time.

Did you finish all the steps? Did you run the installer? If you did then try purging the cache.

Just checked this and confirmed as a bug. Never noticed it before! Thanks for reporting, I will take a look at the code and update it.
Just wondering if there is a fix for this yet?

Thanks :)

Code: Select all

SQL ERROR Table 'Guminukas_1.MOODS_DATA_TABLE' doesn't exist

Code: Select all

Now open http://www.YOUR_DOMAIN.com/install.php in your web browser and follow the instructions. Don't forget to delete the file after you complete the install.
or

phpmyadmin and SQL

Code: Select all

CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `Guminukas_1.moods` (
  `mood_id` mediumint(8) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
  `mood_name` varchar(255) COLLATE utf8_bin NOT NULL DEFAULT '',
  `mood_image` varchar(255) COLLATE utf8_bin NOT NULL DEFAULT '',
  PRIMARY KEY (`mood_id`)
) ENGINE=MyISAM  DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_bin AUTO_INCREMENT=7 ;

--
-- Daten für Tabelle `Guminukas_1.moods`
--

INSERT INTO `Guminukas_1.moods` (`mood_id`, `mood_name`, `mood_image`) VALUES
(1, 'Angry', 'angry.png'),
(2, 'Cool', 'cool.png'),
(3, 'Happy', 'happy.png'),
(4, 'Sad', 'sad.png'),
(5, 'Scream', 'scream.png'),
(6, 'Tired', 'tired.png');
