Greetings,

Easiest thing to do is to restore your backup of 'viewtopic.php' and then check to make sure your not getting any errors... and then re-do the edits for the mod.

Ok, I'm trying to do this now... I couldn't get the backup to restore from my ACP, so now I'm trying something else.... I am really worried that I've destroyed my forum. :( I spent so much time fixing it up today, too. :(

Greetings,

Unless I've missed something you cannot backup phpBB's files from the ACP, you can backup the database however.

You should have a copy of the file 'viewtopic.php', saved just before you made the changes required by this mod simply upload that file via your FTP Program of choice to fix the errors your getting now. Once this is done and the forum is working again you can then have another go at making the alterations to the file for this mod and re-uploading the altered file to your forum.

Greetings,

As you will have already made the database changes on your previous attempt to install the mod there is no need to do them again... hence the 'duplicate' error... ;)

Ok, I added it to my ACP and now I can change moods. I can only see it in the profile, though? Is that normal?

First off sorry for not replying! I forgot to subscribe to this new post so didn't know there was replies

Secondly Thanks to Useless for helping out :D

Ok, answers to questions:

@ bookboarder: The installer has already run so you should just be able to use the mod. If you have problems you can go into the installer again and choose the uninstall option then install again.

@ Xtracker: Screenshots and Demo will be back up soon, I just moved hosts so need to set it up again.

@ barryoneoff & Eclipse2564: You can add as many moods as you like. If you go into the ACP and click the "Users and Groups" tab you will see a new Mood Swing option on the left, you can add, edit and delete moods from there.

@ Eclipse2564: The 'UMIL' folder is part of the installer. You can either delete it or leave it there, it is safe to leave it.

@ Artack: Now the mod has been validated I can start work on the next update so expect that soon.

The installer also clears the cache at the end so try doing that in the ACP for the templates

Nevermind! I worked it out. I'd like to be able to add more moods... that should be possible, right?
