Congrats Tumba25. Please correct me where wrong.
  • img bbcode will still work?
    appears that admins are affected whereas moderators (for the specific forum) are not?

img-bbcode will still work, yes.
Admins should have global moderator permissions so they should not be affected.

If admin does not have global moderator permissions (aka not in the global moderator group) then it will affect them. Is that correct?

I was lead to believe that admins aren't automatically given global moderator permissions. Is that not the case?

Not complaining, just asking. ;)

Admins are not automatically global moderators (I think). But if you don't trust your admins to moderate then you probably don't trust the to post links either. ;)

Question isn't whether or not you trust your admins, some may not want to be a moderator which doesn't mean they can't be an administrator. Simple enough fix really anyway.

Semantics I guess. :)

Found a small bug.

When post count is set to a number, guests (and I am also assuming members below that postcount) will not see url and img tag combinations. It will just be the url tag and then the image, as opposed to a clickable image.

Thanks, I'll take a look at this. I'm sure I did check this at some point, hmm.

It was seen on leftys announcement mod so assuming the bug was also on posts with the same img/url combinations too.

Other than that little issue, a great mod!

I can't reproduce that. Tested both on a fresh install and in my test forum.

Guests sees the links as they are supposed to. And so do users that are not allowed to post links. Both with and without images. http://skripter.se/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=200

It must be some other MOD you have installed that are causing that to happen.

So sorry RMcGirr83, your admins will still not be allowed to post links. :mrgreen:

Just installed this mod but when I went to the post setting screen the setting for the number of post is not shown. I have purged the cache multiple times. When I installed this on my test server at home I am able to configure the post number. I have installed the mod with AutoMod.

There's only one and you're "talking" to him.

BTW, how come moderators aren't affected but low life admins are?

Anyway a quick fix so that admins can post links would be, after installing this mod, find in each file this mod has you edit

Code: Select all

$auth->acl_get('m_', $forum_id)
and change it to this

Code: Select all

$auth->acl_get('m_', $forum_id) || $auth->acl_get('a_')
so there. :P

:lol:

Someone, probably my dog, did forget them. Mostly admins are also moderators. I am at all my boards. And for those boards with more than one admin, all admins are also moderators. Admins want moderating rights.

I know it's not a big thing to fix, but because of what I said above I don't think it's worth a new version. That has been fixed locally and will be in the next version.
